With 66 hectares spread among the best hillsides of the AOC Arbois, CĂ´tes du Jura, l'Ătoile and Château-Chalon, Rolet estate takes its place in second place among independent Jura wine farms.
Trousseau is one of five grape varieties allowed in the Jura wine appellations, but only covers 5% of the Jura vineyards since it requires more sun than other Jura varieties to ripe.
The colour is ruby red with intensity. On the nose, red berries, spices, fresh ground pepper, floral notes of peony and violet aromas. Tannins are supple, a warm mouthfeel and balanced acidity should really be combined with mushroom risotto, veal, poultry or a cheese and charcuterie board.
